What 'countryside B&B' should actually mean
It should mean space, silence, and somewhere to sit outside with a coffee. It should not mean lace curtains, mystery wallpaper, or a host you have to chat with at breakfast. GreyHouse keeps the warmth and ditches the awkward.
Where you are, who you'll see
We're surrounded by fields, woodland and the occasional friendly cow. Diest is 10 minutes by car, and our neighbours are mostly trees. You'll see us at check-in, briefly, and again whenever you want a drink in the garden. The rest of the time, we leave you to it.
Long stays welcome
Stay 7+ nights and we automatically apply our long-stay discount. Many guests come for a week to walk, work, or just stop pretending. We'll happily set you up with a desk, a route map, and a list of the best places to eat in town.
They came for one night.
They text us about it for months.
"We came for one night and stayed for the silence."
"It felt like Airbnb and a boutique retreat had a rebellious child. We're already booked again."
"The Summer Bar alone is worth coming back for."
"Worked from the garden for a week and barely opened Slack. Will return."
